I went with PC + Wii U, best of both worlds, might get X1 after a massive price cut though.
Nintendo has been expanding and recruiting more people and increasing its workforce from 5k-6k to 7k , building new HQ instead of Selling their buildings and terminating employees.
This has also factored in the Expected year-end loss.
Good news are that 3DS is the best selling VG device worldwide, Wii U was able to sell 500k in Dec in US alone and the fact that 2014 is full of big name Exclusive games that will only help sales.
Enough with the hyperbole.

Nintendo makes its OWN software which is consistently dominant in sales and guess what? the profit from sales of these software products go all to Nintendo and does not get divided on 3rd party developers and publishers as in the case with sony.
And your points are contradicting each other, first you say losses come from windows and sony's non-gaming divisions and then, you say that they lose money on gaming divisions and make money from other divisions, weird or what? ...

MS and sony have been losing money by the BILLIONS in the last decade and especially in the last few years and the media vitriol was not even a fraction of what's happening today with Nintendo, even with the great Fail that was the vita.

@MrSwankSinatra: Not true, Xbox brand is losing in billions and MS was trying to scrap that division, the news got reported once or twice and skipped over. Same with sony in case of ps3 psp and vita, these news were reported and you can google them if you want, but the amount of exposure those articles get is very slim in contrast to what happens with any Nintendo negative news, and that's very obvious to anyone who is unbiased

I played TR in constant 60 fps on my PC with ultra settings at 1080p. That's what's keeping me from getting a ps4 and downgrading from my PC.
I agree with you, but sometimes I feel that the media doom & gloom and the vitriol coming from fanboys who hate NT can somehow affect many gamers' decisions of buying Wii U and experiencing great games like X and even MK8, SM3DW, DKC:TF, SSB, WWHD, and so on.

Very good and deserved for Wii U, it's currently my favorite console. Hopefully sales will improve further with MK8, SSB, X and DKC:TF. It has great games, value and features but alas, it seems that the media indoctrination was effective.
SM3DW, GTA V, ALBW are better "games" than TLOU in my opinion. TLOU is great but somewhat overrated.

Great, just bought it, good to see indie devs utilize the gamepad to improve the gameplay, I hope 3rd parties do that too.

Excellent news!! I've posted a request for a sequel on Miiverse more than once because I really loved W101 and I am glad to hear about a sequel. This game is incredibly fun and original with an intense, complex and extremely satisfying combat system and beautiful visuals, refreshing artstyle and rock solid frame rates, it deserves to be played by every gamer.
I would add Bravely Default to the this list. 3DS's really seen impressive support and excellent games, now finding time to play all these games is the difficult part!
Amazing graphics and level design and variety, and as is always the case with NT games, amazing control and gameplay. This is a must have game, to hell with haters.
